What are your three favourite pastimes?

D – reading, walking up hills, hanging out with my family and friends

L – reading, spending time with friends and family, anything creative/arty

What are your three favourite films?

D – Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi

L - Finding Nemo, The Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings

What are your three favourite TV programmes?

D – West Wing, any BBC wildlife programme with David Attenborough, anything else I can take or leave.

L - West Wing, Heroes – maybe, don’t have TV so can’t think of any others

What are your three favourite pieces of music?

D – Billy’s Breton (Billy Connolly/John McCusker), Fire (Jimi Hendrix, Woodstock version), anything off the Buena Vista Social Club Album

L -  Sting – I was brought to my senses, Kate Rusby – Polly, Stevie Wonder – Superstitious (great intro)

What are your three favourite foods / drinks?

D – Fresh Coffee, Dark Chocolate, Red Wine (all as part of a balanced diet, of course……….)

L - Lasagne, Ice Cream, Beer!!

What are your three favourite places you have been in the world?

D – The Port Hills, Christchurch (NZ); Leh, India; Wasdale Head, Lake District

L - Leh - India, Christchurch – New Zealand, Lake Windermere – Lake District  (sadly pretty much the same as Dave)

What are your three most treasured memories?

D – spending time with Loz when we were travelling, Ben’s first steps, Spending time on my grandparents farm in France

L -  Ben finally saying Mummy,  travelling with Dave,  When Ben was born (after not during!)

What are your three biggest regrets?

D – Not staying longer in New Zealand, losing my hair (I still haven’t found it), cant think of a third

L – I can’t think of any regrets

What three things have you seen, heard or experienced that have most shaped your ministry as it is?

D – Spending time with an Indian doctor (Dr Laji) whilst on elective. He built up a small mission hospital into a thriving community serving massive parts of the Himalayan foothills – His approach to medicine, God and life in general will hopefully stay with me for a long time. Experiencing Jesus’ forgiveness when I have got things wrong. reading about the lives of Gandhi and Mother Theresa

L – Hearing the Gospel for the first time, spending time in the developing world, visiting Pastor Sam’s orphanages in India

What three things do you want to achieve before you die?

D – perfect the hot chocolate, see those I love know God, catch a trout whilst fly fishing (not necessarily in that order……)

L – Raise happy children, Travel more, write a book
