We have been challenged over and over about the heart of our God for the poor and the oppressed and the marginalised. We wanted to reflect this in our songs. Unfortunately, there are very, very few songs that do. So we started writing songs again. This song was written after hearing some stuff on the news that just broke my heart and made me want to cry out to Jesus to come back now and end this darkness!
